CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We offer a range of outdoor activities, plus indoor activities conducted in our fully air conditioned facility. Our specialty camps are optional programs, operating during regular camp hours, which provide even more choices for unique and exciting adventures. Summer Camp offers fun-filled summer programs for children ages 4-12. Each week, campers jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events.

Our campers have the opportunity to expand their horizons during the summer, embarking on new adventures, and having fun! Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable!

It all starts with our outstanding camp counselors. A camp is only as good as its staff, and we are extremely proud of ours. Talent, creativity, love of children, leadership and devotion make our camp counselors the heart and soul of the program. We take our camp programs seriously and begin our summer with intensive staff training and orientation. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Broadway Dreams Foundation is a week-long day intensive where our students work with a faculty of Broadways finest. During the course of the week,the students will be trained in classes and have rehearsals with the staff in order to prepare for the showcase that is presented at the end of the week to family friends,and industry agents!

On the last day of the intensive,students will audition for Telsey and Co as well as other Casting Agency's. More than 3,000 students have participated in Broadway Dreams programs.

Past students have gone on to perform with Broadway, national touring and regional productions including Bring It On: The Musical (Ryann Redmond, Calli Alden), Bare (Ariana Groover), Memphis (Lindsay Roberts), The Book of Mormon (Paris Nesbitt), Shrek (Chase Todd), Evita (Katie Huff), The Addams Family (Ethan Wexler), A Chorus Line (Sidney DuPont) and Spring Awakening (Blake Daniel).

CAMP FACILITIES: The Kirby Center for Creative Arts will serve as the brand-new home and performance venue for Summer At Sem -Creative Arts, in addition to existing arts buildings. Our facilities also include four dormitories, an air-conditioned dining hall, classroom buildings, open practice rooms, dance and fine art studios, athletic center with two gymnasiums, fitness rooms and swimming pool, new stadium, tennis courts and artificial turf fields, three computer labs and a 20,000 volume library.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: If you are an artist, or aspire to be, Sem is the place to spend your summer. Here you may choose from dedicated session of study in vocal performance, symphony orchestra, dance and theater, along with several visual arts courses. If you can't decide which of your passions to pursue, you will love our design-your-own program: this approach allows students to study across multiple disciplines during the same session. Imagine a schedule of dance in the morning followed by a theater or vocal performance elective course in the afternoon. The possibilities are endless!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp America provides a comprehensive day camp program that promotes the social, cultural, physical and emotional development of children, ages 2 1/2 to 15. we recruit the best counselors and supervisors to help campers as they learn, laugh and play. We offer activities in the best environments possible. We strive to give campers a fun and nurturing experience, enhanced self-esteem, friendship skills, greater independence and a sense of their creative potential. Camp America is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), an award held by only 25% of camps nation wide. Camp America enjoys an excellent reputation because we hand pick the best people to serve you and your family. Many of our counselors are state certified teachers. Our food managers are certified by the Bucks County Board of Health. All of our instructors have specialized training in their areas of expertise. A full-time Registered Nurse and well stock infirmary are available during regular camp hours. Our staff members are experienced, highly qualified leaders who model friendship and consideration of others to all children. As positive and caring leaders, our counselors and supervisors display the sensitivity required to work well with children meeting their social, emotional and physical needs.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our CIT (counselor in training) program is a learning and transition program for 13, 14 and 15 year-olds. CIT's are organized into groups of 15 boys or girls and get to experience the best of two world's at camp. The counselors for these groups are chosen for their mature, yet youthful, outlooks. A CIT day encompasses work experience, bunk activities including lunch and swimming, as well as sport and recreational periods. CIT's work with both specialist and bunks developing leadership and organizational skills. Daily bunk-time activities include co-ed games, group meetings and discussions, swim and water games, as well as, other recreational opportunities. As the oldest campers, CIT's are rewarded with day trips and after-hours activities supervised by their counselors, division leaders and other staff.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp Leo, located in Exton at the Church Farm School provides campers who have completed kindergarten through 8th grade with a summer they'll never forget. Campers have an opportunity to make friends and participate in a variety of camp activities including: arts & crafts, sports, free swim, field games, community service and weekly themed activities.

Camp Leo runs for 11 weeks from June 13 through August 26 and registration for camp is done by the week to allow families flexibility to select camp weeks that work for them. Camp Leo also runs a STEAM specialty camp. Camp runs from 9 AM - 4 PM each day, aftercare is included in the price of camp. Before care is available for a nominal fee. Our camps and programs are offered locally throughout over 500 communities. At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called "Gate System and Parking Lot Duty." This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.

Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harm's way by funneling them into our gate system. Eye contact is maintained from each one of our staff members until the kids make it onto the field/court where they are grouped by age. This efficient process ensures safety. Qualified Candidates Must:

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Career Heroes 1-week day camp provides a vital and FUN opportunity for career exploration for middle and early high school age children (11-15).

The camp counselors are the Technical High School's program instructors who enjoy sharing their passion for their field with children and youth.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: The Delaware County Technical High School (DCTS) is a multi-campus career and technical education center (CTC) that offers students from the 15 School Districts in Delaware County access to high-quality career and technical training.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Shand has a small lake, outdoor pool, dining hall, recreation hall, modern first aid center, modern shower house, 12 cabin, outdoor basketball, large sports field, GAGA pit, two fire circles, miles of trails and archery range.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YMCA Camp Shand offers a traditional values based program which is also ACA accredited. A majority of staff are 18 and older. All have background checks and are CPR/First Aid certified and receive a 40 hours of training prior to the start of class.

Classes will begin on Monday, July 9 and run weekdays through July 20. Morning sessions are available from 9 AM – 12:30 PM and Afternoon sessions from 1:30 PM – 5 PM. The last day of regular class (Friday) is a full day, morning and afternoon, for all students. The course will culminate in a student-showcasing recital on Saturday, July 21st.

Prior to March 31, 2018, The early registration fee for the 10 day course is $235. After March 31, 2018, the class registration fee is $255. This fee includes 2 free tickets to the July 21st recital. Class size is limited to 25 students per group.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp UMLY, located in Berwyn at the Upper Main Line YMCA provides campers who are preschool age through 8th grade with a summer they'll never forget. Campers have an opportunity to make friends and participate in a variety of camp activities including: arts & crafts, sports, free swim, field games, environmental and nature programming, community service and weekly themed activities.

Camp UMLY runs for 13 weeks from May 31 through August 26 and registration for camp is done by the week to allow families flexibility to select camp weeks that work for them. Camp UMLY also runs specialty camps including: sports, tennis, STEM, nature, woodshop, animal care, art, dance, theater and more. For the past 62 summers, campers have enjoyed the spirit and excitement of the Trail’s End Camp experience. Chestnut Lake has been designed to emulate the traditions and excellence of Trail’s End while providing your family with the flexibility of 3-week or 6-week alternatives. In 2008, Chestnut Lake opened its gates as the Northeast’s premier session camp located in the northeast corner of Pennsylvania, just 2 ½ hours from NYC and Philadelphia.

Chestnut Lake offers boys and girls a brand new, state-of-the-art facility along with creative day and evening programming. Chestnut Lake is an all around camp with a strong sports program. Whether your child is an athlete or an artist, Chestnut Lake has the activities and staff that will Bring Out the Best in every camper!

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: During the summer before 11th grade, campers have the opportunity to participate in our Leadership Training year. During this summer we incorporate additional leadership and community service elements into the program including Stepping for Success, a large fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation ran completely by campers.

We also incorporate travel into the program. Leadership Trainees will take two College Trips and a 10-day trip to Utah which includes 4 days rafting on the Colorado River and hiking Bryce & Zion National Parks.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ravens Run, New Hope’s Visual & Performing Arts Camp, brings together professional artists and students to explore the world of creativity in a supportive, inspiring and fun environment. At Ravens Run, children are encouraged to broaden their artistic horizons while developing technical skills. Campers learn to find their special creative spirit and no prior experience is necessary.

Campers will be exposed to a wide variety of artistic styles and media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, crafts, stained glass, photography, dance, yoga, music, magic, theatre, claymation and creative writing. We strive to give each child a rich art experience that fosters flexible thinking and creative problem solving skills.

CAMP FACILITIES: West Chester Studio for the Performing Arts [AT] Uptown is located in the new Knauer Performing Arts Center. We have two acting studios, fully equipped with a stage, props and furniture for acting scenes as well as a piano for our musical theater classes and cabaret performances. All our performances take place either in the Black Box Theater or on the Main Stage.
