Of course, that is in addition to our rustic cabins, challenge course and climbing towers, zip line, art center, and so much more, including our incredible Equestrian Program which offers lessons in both Western and English riding styles.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
We are currently looking for counselors for the Summer Camp!

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 3 outdoor riding arenas with jumping courses, access to an outdoor pool, stables with stalls for 45 horses, an arts & crafts room, changing room and a seperate lunch/activity room.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The day camp at Ashford Farm in suburban Philadelphia is for children ages 6 to 14 who are interested in learning the correct basics of horsemanship and riding in an atmosphere designed for both safety and fun.

In addition to daily riding and horse care instruction, camp activities include arts and crafts, swimming and outdoor games. The program also features a camp picnic, field trips, a sleepover, a camp horse show and Parents Day.

Our enrollment is limited to 40. Beginner, intermediate and advanced groups are formed according to riding ability.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Ashford Farm offers year round riding lessons and a Pony club program in the winters.

CAMP FACILITIES: We rent out the Upper School of the Renaissance Academy Charter School. We use the gym, Cafe, 2-4 classrooms, and the grounds outside of the school. We also have access to the nature trail of the Charlestown Park and University of Valley Forge campus.

Camp Fit & Fun’s goal is to provide children with an exciting, diversified and wholesome camping experience. This is accomplished through a large, flexible program that is structured and well supervised. We feel it is essential to blend wholesome, challenging and cultural programs into the day.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Harmony features 8 newly remodeled cabins, 5 rustic cabins, RV campground, teepees, swimming pool & waterslide, climbing & rappelling tower, high & low elements ropes course, pavilions, catch & release pond, indoor gym & multipurpose building, dining hall, meeting rooms, and retreat buildings for large and small groups of all types. CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Watonka offers a program of Sciences, Sports and Adventure with a full range of waterfront, craft, woodwork, dirt-bikes, marksmanship and archery activities. CAMP FACILITIES: The Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena (PISA) is a 98,000 sq ft indoor sports and entertainment arena that houses 3 fields of Revolution Field Turf. PISA sits on 14 acres of the beautiful Deer Creek campus just 15 minutes north of Downtown Pittsburgh. The Y is a non-profit charitable organization that strengthens the foundations of our community. OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp Lenni Lenape, located in Kennett Square at the Kennett Area YMCA provides campers from ages 18 months through 8th grade with a summer they'll never forget. Campers have an opportunity to make friends and participate in a variety of camp activities including: arts & crafts, sports, free swim, field games, community service and weekly themed activities.

Camp CLenni Lenape runs for 11 weeks from June 13 through August 26 and registration for camp is done by the week to allow families flexibility to select camp weeks that work for them. Camp Lenni Lenape also offers aquatics and junior lifeguarding specialty camps. Camp runs from 9 AM - 4 PM each day, aftercare is included in the price of camp. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
The counselors have the most direct impact on a child’s experience at camp. We are seeking dedicated, fun, enthusiastic staff who understand that “Campers Come First.” Counselors must be at least 18 years of age or have graduated from high school. All counselors will teach in one of our program areas and co-lead a cabin of 8-12 children. Pay is $250-$275 per week depending on experience.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Penn State Abington's Kids and Teen College offers fun, enriching, and educational week-long programs for students entering grades 3 through 12. CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Sequoia is very fortunate to call The Perkiomen School campus our summer home. Pennsburg is a suburban area approximately a one hour drive northwest of Philadelphia in Montgomery County. The proximity of many educational and recreational activities to Pennsburg make our weekly out of camp trips very convenient.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Perkiomen School offers a wide array of playing fields and outdoor athletic facilities such as tennis and basketball courts. An indoor, competition size swimming pool, multiple gyms and top notch art facilities are just a few of the indoor highlights. When it's time for bed, campers will enjoy the comfort of their bedrooms which feature closets, dressers and desks. Bad weather is no problem at Camp Sequoia thanks to our amazing facilities. This is a great asset to our campers who have trouble with change in schedules.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The LIT program meets the need for young people ages 16-17 who are not yet ready for a summer job and need help developing their social thinking skills, independent skills and job readiness skills. Camp Sequoia's Leader-In-Training program provides a safe and supportive environment for our LIT's to learn and practice these important skills.

Many of our staff have significant experience working with children and our leadership positions require a college degree in a related field. CAMP FACILITIES: Modern cabins with bathroom facilities in the bunk. "Camptivities" are scheduled throughout the day so that your family members can participate as much, or as little, as they like. Evenings are filled with themed all-camp programs. Past family camps have included hiking, field games, challenge course, archery, climbing tower, live reptiles, outdoor skills, arts & crafts, a square dance, a luau…and that’s just the beginning!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Youth should plan to be online 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. weekdays, and to work ten additional hours per week on their projects. Most of the scheduled time is for projects but some of it will be for meetings.

Required equipment: A tablet or phone with a front-facing camera. A video camera or DSLR camera will also work.

Thanks to donations to the Y's Annual Campaign, we can offer financial assistance to those unable to pay the standard fees.*

Anyone is invited to apply for an income-based YMCA membership or financial assistance. Those receiving income-based memberships are also eligible to receive discounted rates for programming, including camp!

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp UMLY, located in Berwyn at the Upper Main Line YMCA provides campers who are preschool age through 8th grade with a summer they'll never forget. Campers have an opportunity to make friends and participate in a variety of camp activities including: arts & crafts, sports, free swim, field games, environmental and nature programming, community service and weekly themed activities.

Camp UMLY runs for 13 weeks from May 31 through August 26 and registration for camp is done by the week to allow families flexibility to select camp weeks that work for them. Camp UMLY also runs specialty camps including: sports, tennis, STEM, nature, woodshop, animal care, art, dance, theater and more. Camp runs from 9 AM - 4 PM each day, aftercare is included in the price of camp. Before care is available for a nominal fee. Half day camp options are available for specific programs. The YMCA of Greater Brandywine has many job opportunities including seasonal, part-time and full-time, each featuring incredible benefits and coworkers that will quickly feel like family.

CAMP FACILITIES: WGDC is a 40 acre facility. Our cabins, Dining Hall, and Activity Barn, are air conditioned. Cabins have clean modern bathrooms and changing areas. We have 4 heated pools (2 with slides), a wading pool, basketball courts,softball and soccer fields, a 1 acre lake for boating and fishing, a challenge ropes course and much, much more!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: WGDC is accredited by the American Camp Association. Our goal is for our campers to learn and have fun in a clean, safe environment!!! We feature programs in yhe arts, athletics and science. Our otto is "More To Do...More To Be"
