CAMP LOCATION: We are located in Santa Monica, on the middle of Main Street, between Ocean and Pico. Our school lies next to the beach and is an attractive location for locals and tourists.
CAMP FACILITIES: A great 2 complex theater space, with comfortable seating and room for a lot of movement.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our teachers are highly qualified in their field.
We have educated and graduate acting teachers from Acting Schools such as Julliard and Yale.
All of our staff consists of professionals film and production creatives from the industry.
This Los Angeles Acting School’s philosophy is that artists can draw upon all different acting techniques and form a toolbox of their own, their very own Golden Box. Our actors develop a comprehensive set of “acting tools” when approaching a role or a scene whether it be for film, television or theater.
Michelle Danner’s Los Angeles acting school specializes in the Meisner Technique, Lee Strasberg’s Method, Stella Adler, Stanislavski’s System, and the Chekhov technique.
Michelle Danner is the founder and artistic director of The Edgemar Center for the Arts and is a renowned actor, director, and award-winning acting coach.
As an acting coach, Michelle has worked with A List talent privately and on set, including Salma Hayek, James Franco, Gerard Butler, Chris Rock, Seth MacFarlane, Penelope Cruz, Michael Pena, Isla Fisher, Common, and Zooey Deschanel.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We offer Acting|Improvisation|Auditioning for Film|Musical theater classes & Summer Film|Acting|Musical theater Camps that stimulate and encourage students of all ages and experience levels. Whether the student is interested in a career as a professional actor, or just expanding his/her imagination, our acting classes will give students a safe and comfortable space to be creative and think outside of the box.
