The Creative Outlet Method is the process used to enhance every participant’s unique abilities while providing them with the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, increase their self-confidence, and build their social skills.

The HIPPP Rules and the A+ Audience Type are positive behavior supports that our Founder and Executive Director, Joshua Levy, created to help the conductor of the activities manage the participants’ behaviors.

While many of the activities that Joshua’s Stage conducts are common to theater arts and improv enrichment programs, camps, and schools, embedding the Creative Outlet Method in each activity is the ultimate gateway for Joshua’s Stage to meet your child’s needs.

To foster and maintain a warm and welcoming environment for everyone, caring and qualified staff and volunteers are trained to follow these 10 components:

1) Implementers and Recipients
2) CUPSS (Create, Unique, Positive, Support, Success)
3) SOfTS (Serving Others for Tremendous Success)
4) RAE of Sunshine Approach (Reflect. Engage. Analyze. Sunshine.)
5) The Five Cs (Compassionate, Confident, Creative, Curioisty, Communication)
6) HIPPP Rules (Hey, Hey What?!, I Am Making Good Decisions, Positive Words, Positive Actions, Participation)

CAMP LOCATION: Located on Guadalupe River's beautiful South Fork, 85 miles northwest of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country. We are 2,000 feet above sea level, so our nights are cool. Our nearest town of size is Kerrville, Texas

CAMP FACILITIES: When "The Heart" was first built, it was a resort hotel, so all our "tepees" have central air-conditioning. Campers under 12 live in the original hotel, 4-5 girls per room with a counselor, indoor plumbing. Older girls live in dormitory-style "tepees" with 10-12 girls and 2-3 counselors per room, indoor plumbing. All bunk beds are twin size.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Heart O' the Hills has been a summer camp for girls since 1953. Director Jane Ragsdale was a camper herself who always wanted to run a camp. She became program director when she was 21, and after 12 summers in that role, became director. 2015 was her 50th consecutive summer to be at camp in some capacity.

We offer two- and four-week sessions. All campers are asked to take Red Cross swim lessons, field sports and horseback riding. There is a list of some 50 electives that campers can choose from to round out their schedules, so there is something for everyone--from the most athletic to the most creative. The emphasis is on learning new skills in a fun environment.

New campers draw from a hat to determine tribe affiliation. The friendly competitive spirit of the tribes are infectious!

Campers leave their electronics at home and learn to live and relate to each other the old fashioned way.

Counselors arrive a minimum of one week before campers to take skills certification courses and learn all about how The Heart operates.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Heart LITes are too old to be campers but haven't had a year of college, so don't qualify to be counselors. They may apply to come as volunteers.

CAMP FACILITIES: We offer overnight/sleepaway dance camps in beautiful locations where the pace of life is slower. At ADTC, mountains, forests and lakes will surround you. You'll raise your serotonin, boost your immune system, and do what you love all day long.

Our dance camps are near renowned destination resorts & famous cities. At ADTC, you'll have access to all of the activities you'd want to enjoy at camp, as well as all of the amenities you'd expect to find at a resort. And we have just as much fun outside the dance studio as we do in class!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our top-notch dance choreographers bring the freshest dance combinations to our dance camps! They hail from the best dance studios, schools and performance groups.

ADTC choreographers have the most impressive dance resumes: they are Radio City Rockettes; Broadway & MTV performers; celebrities from your favorite dance TV shows; and collegiate dance team competitors.

No matter what level dancer you are, we’ve got fun & challenging dance classes that’ll fit you just right.

You’ll take four dance classes daily and at week’s end you get to show off your new moves in a big Friday night performance for family, friends and fellow campers.

In addition to core dance classes in contemporary, hip hop & jazz (styles of jazz vary and may include lyrical, modern or Broadway), you’ll choose between ballet, tap or world dance for your core elective dance class.

And we believe girls in our perfectionist culture need to get out and have more authentic fun! At ADTC you can enjoy awesome activities & extras like horseback riding, kayaking, paintball, trampolines, swimming, hiking, rock wall climbing, alpine slides, water rides, and so much more!

Join us this summer for your chance to take dance classes with the best choreographers in the world!

The buildings set into the hillside frame views of the lake and the surrounding hills. Even the athletic fields have views that look like they came right off a postcard.

Arts facilities include the Helm Fine Arts Center featuring the Temple Family Theatre, a 410-seat performance venue and proscenium stage; a 100-seat recital hall; and an open-air portico overlooking Lake Austin. In addition to Helm, the campus boasts Hines Hall Black Box Theatre, two additional rehearsal/performance spaces, and the Clayton dance studio.

Fast-paced, professional-style rehearsals and film shoots allow campers to excel as both artists and people.

What separates Texas Arts Project from other summer programs? A Safe Environment St. Stephen's boarding school is tucked away on 300 acres of Texas hill country, with 24 hour security.

Quality Instruction: The faculty and staff members are chosen based on professional and instructional expertise. All faculty members are of the highest caliber as both artists and educators. There is no benchmark at TAP camp. We believe that with direction and motivation, each camper can push beyond his or her perceived personal limitations.

Individual Attention: The faculty and staff take pride in making sure all students receive personalized training. Teachers use the small classes as an opportunity to advance and enhance each student's personal journey.

Results: Campers leave with a sense of personal fulfillment, often exhibiting greater self-confidence, a deeper passion for their art form and a true commitment to themselves, their art, and the people around them. Our campers study acting, film, dance, musical theatre, and technical theatre at top universities around the world. We are equally proud of our campers in med school, law school, and business school. How do you actually practice leadership? We give you real situations that will help you develop the skills that make other people want to be a part of your journey.

Each year of the program has a theme that is associated with the specific skills you will build:

Heart of a Champion: Find where your heart is and the type of person you are inclined to be, while acknowledging that society is likely to pull you in a different direction.

Spirit of a Champion: We help you develop and hone the skills you will need to follow your own path.

Legacy of a Champion: Literally go into the woods and write a mission statement for what that path is.

Worth area, and 200 miles east of Austin. Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is only 90 miles from camp, which makes the trip to Camp Olympia convenient for campers that are from other areas of Texas, out-of-state and out-of-country!

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Olympia has outstanding facilities, including a swimming pool, challenge course, as well as fields and courts for many activities. While most of the activities take place on a 101-acre location, camp has access to hundreds of additional acres of private land. We improve the facility each year with additions and enhancements so campers are always in for a treat when they return. Additions within the last 5 years include our new climbing wall at our swimming pool, new lakeside Olympiatheater that is perfect for Talent Show, New Cluster of Cabins (our largest cluster of cabins ever!), 2-Person Zip Line at the Challenge Course, a Water Balloon Battle Station at the pool, and Aqua Inflatables for both the pool and waterfront! Camp just keeps getting better and better!!!

While Olympia is located on the breezy shores of Lake Livingston, it does get warm in Texas during the summer. Unlike most of the other camps in Texas, all of the cabins, bathrooms, our dining hall, and many of the enclosed areas are air conditioned. Air conditioned cabins make sleeping at night much more comfortable!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Olympia has gone above and beyond many private camps to demonstrate our commitment to safety by complying with the accreditation standards of the American Camping Association (ACA). To earn accreditation, we comply with over 200 health, safety, and program quality standards. During our latest accreditation visit, we made a perfect score complying with all 200+ standards.

Lone Oak Ranch is home to Camp Kiowa

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: In the Fall of 2003, Daryl Gelender and Jill Stolbach, both Dallas residents and former Greenhill private school teachers, dreamed of a place children could learn through an elaborate enrichment program taught by professionals in a summer camp environment. It was from this dream that Camp Kiowa brought its first campers to Texas Woman’s University in Denton during the summer of 2004.

In 2005, Brian and Jennifer Manhart purchased Camp Kiowa in an effort to maintain the high-quality enrichment program already in place, and to incorporate all the benefits of a traditional camp experience. After 2 years of continual growth on the university campus, Brian and Jennifer decided to offer an additional enrichment experience in a more traditional camp environment. The university experience many campers have known as Camp Kiowa evolved into Kiowa U. Many campers, in search of a more traditional style of overnight camp, but looking for the depth only found in an enrichment program, enjoyed the experience known as Adventure Kiowa.

In 2009, The Manhart family purchased the future home of Camp Kiowa(Lone Oak Ranch). They understood the value of joining both Kiowa U and Adventure Kiowa into one experience… Camp Kiowa at Lone Oak Ranch. This program offers the best of both worlds… traditional overnight camp, educational programs, relational activities, fun evening programs and genuine friendships! The Manharts also understood the benefit of living year-round on the property with other team leaders that could focus on quality programming in a very safe environment. The group has been extremely successful with “off-season” events and is now equipped to produce only the best summer camp experience with Camp Kiowa.

Our camps and programs are offered locally throughout over 500 communities. The format includes traditional week-long summer day camps and year-round after-school programs that range from 45 minutes to 6 hours in duration, per day. For Detailed Information on ALL of our summer sports camps, please visit our website at Our Camp Website Link: www.skyhawks.com.

Our coaches and site directors make a significant difference to your child's on-field experience. Chosen for their strong personal character, responsibility, and capacity to effectively communicate sports skills to youth, our staff will make the extra effort every time to ensure that your children have the best on-field/court experience, emphasize teamwork, and learn life skills through sports. OTHER CAMP INFO: Skyhawks Sports Camps are SAFETY FOCUSED!

At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called "Gate System and Parking Lot Duty." This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.

Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harm's way by funneling them into our gate system. Eye contact is maintained from each one of our staff members until the kids make it onto the field/court where they are grouped by age. This efficient process ensures safety. Additionally, it develops a level of trust between parent, coach, and child that ultimately leads to a fun and skill-focused camp for youth.

The Grand Ole Opry radio show has been broadcasting to millions every week since 1925, and the Ryman Auditorium, where it was originally held, will be visited. Then there's the Country Music Hall of Fame, which is full of historic records, memorabilia, and instruments from the greats like Earl Scruggs and Johnny Cash.

Memphis isKnown as both the "Home of the Blues" and the "Birthplace of Rock n' Roll", Memphis is home to Graceland (Elvis' mansion) and the famous Stax Museum of American Soul (honoring the label that launched the careers of Otis Redding and Isaac Hayes). Memphis is the home of the blues and a key center for gospel and soul music. It was here in the early 1950s that rock'n'roll was born. Since the early 20th century, the Beale Street neighborhood has been a center of African-American clubs and bars. The "Father of the Blues" W.C. Handy wrote "Beale Street Blues" in honor of the street where you'll find countless venues, including B.B. King's Blues Club.

Our tour includes participating in a music clinic and performing at Vanderbilt University, attending a live performance of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, tour and enjoy a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry, visit Sun Studios, where the likes of Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis recorded, and a young unknown named Elvis Presley cut his first single, in 1954. The great Stax Record - the company behind Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, and Booker T - and the MG's were based here, too, tour the Ryman Auditorium and Museum, visit Creative Artists Agency, participate in music, choreography, and acting classes at the Orpheum Theatre, guided Tour of Graceland, walking tour to view the Music City Walk of Fame, explore the Country Museum Hall of Fame and Museum and dine at the Wildhorse Saloon – southern food, live-music acts, dance lessons, the Opry Backstage Grill – live country music in a fun & lively atmosphere and B.B. King's – enjoy live blues music & Southern food.

HOT CALIENTE HOT 6 DAYS IN MIAMI/HAVANA. There's more to the Miami music scene than meets the eye. From the outside, it may look like it's all DJs and Spanish music, but dig deeper into the city and you'll find a wealth of locals rocking out at every type of venue to everything from Latin fusion to indie funk to slow jazz to hip-hop. Havana has a hugely diverse music scene, reflecting the generations of migrants and slaves brought here, each with their own musical culture. African rhythms and percussion have been molded with Spanish guitars and traditions to form genres like mambo, son Cubano, charanga, Cuban jazz, habanera, and cha-cha-cha. You'll find music in the bars and cafés across Havana, especially in the Old Town of Havana.

Out tour includes visiting and performing at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, tour the University of Miami Frost School of Music, participate in a music lesson workshop at the music school and enjoy a live professional music performance, go on a behind the scenes tour at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), participate in an Afro-Cuban dance workshop, enjoy dinner at Larios on the Beach, Gloria and Emilio Estefan's restaurant, explore South Beach and explore Wynwood - street performance opportunity. In Havana you'll participate in an Afro-Cuban Percussion music workshop, attend a local concert, enjoy live Cuban music with dinner, perform at a local venue, go on a guided tour of Old Havana (Havana Vieja) and witness the famous "Cañonazo de las 9".

Today the city is home to bands like The Strokes and Beach Fossils, as well as the New York Philharmonic and Broadway for fans of the classics and musical theatre. Brooklyn also hosts a thriving music scene, with venues such as Baby's All Right in Williamsburg and the Ailent Barn in Bushwick, catering to the newest projects.
