Fine Arts/Crafts, Academics, Computers, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Dance, Theater, Musical Theater, Technology, and more. Filmmaking (Directing, Screenwriting & Producing), Performing Arts (Acting, Musical Theatre, Commercial Dance) & Electronic Music Production.
CAMP LOCATION: Two locations:
Our campus is at Los Angeles Center Studios, a 20-acre active full service studio for TV, film, and commercial production where Mad Men, Medium and Californication are currently filmed. They provide a supportive, synergistic environment for the growing independent elements of the entertainment business offering a fully enclosed campus, 24/7 security and access to professional camera ready sets.
We also offer a Maui, Hi location in paradise.
CAMP FACILITIES: Apartment style furnished housing is available within walking distance of our campus with swimming pool, laundry on site, roof top outdoor space and beautifully maintained common areas. Meal plans are also available.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: RELATIVITY WORKSHOPS are the first to be green-lit by a NEXT-GENERATION MOVIE STUDIO. Relativity's recent films include: The Family, Immortals, Mirror Mirror, Act of Valor, 21 and Over, Zombieland, The Social Network, and Safe Haven. In our workshops, our cross-disciplinary collaboration isn't the exception, it's the everyday. It's where ground-breaking ideas aren't just embraced, they're expected.
And where creating transformational content is king. Our workshops are developed by industry insiders, taught by working professionals and operated from an active HOLLYWOOD PRODUCTION STUDIO. Imagine doing what you love right in the entertainment capital of the world. From the Hollywood Walk of Fame and iconic Chinese Theatre to the magnificent 45-foot tall Hollywood Sign serving as a beacon to artists and dreamers everywhere, Los Angeles is the place to be for film, media & the performing arts.
Our summer workshops are three weeks long and are available to teens ages 13-17 or adults over 18 years of age who want to gain real world experience by creating original digital content. All of our summer programs are built around the idea that storytelling is fun and collaborative. Our goal is to help you unleash your imagination by fostering creative innovations between our students, industry mentors and faculty.
Students form multidisciplinary teams that work together under industry mentorship to create cool, compelling and unexpected SHORT-FORM CONTENT. All students participate in our master class series on Wednesdays and Collaboration Labs on Fridays. Integrated teamwork, positive energy, a safe creative environment, state-of-the-art equipment and talent are some of our ingredients for success.
