BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Looking for the best outdoor summer camp for kids? At ROOTS Summer Camp, children don’t just play outside—they explore, create, and grow through hands-on, nature-based learning. Designed for ages 5-12, our unique program blends adventure, environmental education, and essential life skills, making it one of the top choices for nature camps, outdoor education camps, and eco-friendly summer programs. Each week, campers embark on themed explorations—from honoring Indigenous traditions to understanding Earth’s natural cycles—engaging in activities that deepen their connection to the world around them.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: With a focus on child-led learning, we support each camper’s individual needs, ensuring they feel confident, curious, and connected in our nurturing environment.Our small-group outdoor camp is designed to foster a sense of community and belonging, with a mix of hands-on projects, creative play, and space for quiet reflection. Campers will spend their days outdoors, with access to indoor spaces as needed. While we encourage full six-week enrollment, families can also register by the week to fit their schedules.
*Townsend, DE Camp is only week of 7/28. All other camp weeks will be at the Georgetown, DE location.
